Magma is an object-oriented database written in the programming language Smalltalk and implemented in Squeak. Magma gives access to a persistent object model that can be used by multiple machines in a network at once. There are a variety of databases that can be used with Magma, as it is fully supportive of massive, indexed data collections with querying capabilities.
Magma is fault tolerant and undergoes SUnit testing—the unit testing framework for Smalltalk.
