Apache HBase

Apache HBase

Apache HBase is a massive database by Hadoop optimized for accessing (reading/writing) big data. Apache HBase hosts tables with rows of data numbering in the millions and billions, all on a columnar construction that provides fault-tolerant storage of sparse data. As part of the larger Apache software project, Apache HBase is open source. The database is written in Java.
