From banks to breweries and from customer service to marketing, the business case for Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is now a foregone conclusion. The issue is not whether you need A.I., but how exactly you need to implement new technologies to yield the best value. A.I. is a massive umbrella term that encompasses a wide range of modern approaches.
A.I. is the new buzz word. From my research, I’ve encountered countless vendors claiming to use A.I. when they simply use older statistical or data mining approaches that is no different from traditional data analytics. For those unfamiliar, it’s hard to distinguish between fact and fiction.
