Cognos, Sybase, Informatica could be targets after SAP’s Business Objects bid, industry sources say

Cognos, Informatica and Sybase, all listed North American database developers, could be targets following SAP’s takeover of Business Objects, said industry sources. Shares of all three companies surged in US markets Monday following the USD 6.78bn agreed bid for listed Business Objects of France by Germany’s listed SAP.
