Data Mirroring

Data mirroring is the act of making an exact copy of data onto an external storage device. Most data systems are dynamic, so data mirroring is a snapshot in time and as such must be performed in real-time in order to capture all data in its most current state.

Data mirroring is a method for sharing data in various locations and securing data against an emergency, such as an unanticipated system shutdown.
