Data as a Service

AKA:

Data as a Service is a model for data delivery from third-party providers over the Internet (i.e., on-demand) that opens up cheap, readily available data (video, audio, text, etc.) to people all over the world. DaaS providers can charge customers in a variety of ways: through service subscriptions, per data file, or by volume streamed.
